Beheaded for Allah The Jihad Murder of a Christian Mother in Oklahoma that Democrats Tried to Cover Up Video

The brutal jihad beheading of Colleen Hufford, a Christian mother in Oklahoma, by Alton Nolen, a devout Muslim, on September 25, 2014, was downplayed by the Obama administration and continues to be whitewashed by Democrats, preventing the public from understanding the true threat of Islam in America

On this day, September 25, 2014, in Moore, Oklahoma, the nation was shocked by a gruesome jihad attack carried out by Alton Nolen, a Muslim convert who brutally beheaded his co-worker, Colleen Hufford. Hufford, a 54-year-old Christian mother and grandmother, was slaughtered while Nolen shouted “Allahu Akbar,” the Islamic war cry. This was not merely a random act of violence—it was a clear act of Islamic terrorism, deeply rooted in Nolen’s adherence to the Quran and Islamic teachings.

Despite the brutality of the attack and Nolen’s open admission that he “did it for Allah,” federal and local authorities under the Obama administration deliberately downplayed the religious motivations behind this atrocity. Instead of informing the American public about the Islamic elements that fueled Nolen’s murderous rampage, they chose to classify this as a case of “workplace violence.” This was the first workplace beheading in American history, yet rather than learning from this horrific event, the government whitewashed the incident, effectively shielding Islam from any scrutiny.

Nolen’s Religious Motivations: Inspired by the Quran

As Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch explains, Nolen’s actions were driven by his adherence to Islamic teachings, particularly those found in the Quran. During his trial, Nolen made it clear that he believed he was following divine commands. After being read his rights, Nolen responded, “I’m a Muslim.” When asked why he beheaded Colleen Hufford, he chillingly replied, “I just feel like I did what I needed to do, what Allah says in the Quran to do.” Spencer points out that Quran 47:4, which says, “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks,” served as Nolen’s justification for the beheading.

Nolen further explained that he viewed Hufford not just as an unbeliever but as a “slave to the devil” while seeing himself as a “slave to Allah.” This mindset, according to Spencer, is in line with a broader jihadist ideology that promotes violence against non-believers as righteous. Nolen’s statements to the police also reflected his deep conviction in the Quran’s promise of paradise to those who kill and are killed for Allah, citing Quran 9:111. He demanded execution, believing it would fulfill this Quranic promise and guarantee his entrance to paradise.

In the following picture, the dark spot seen on Nolen’s forehead is called Zebibah, which is called Prayer Bump in English.

Despite the clear Islamic motivations behind Nolen’s actions, both his defense attorneys and the prosecution sought to argue insanity, with the prosecution claiming that Nolen “didn’t know the difference between right and wrong.” Spencer criticizes this reasoning, explaining that Nolen knew exactly what he was doing according to Islamic law, which he believed justified his actions. Spencer warns that as long as Western authorities continue to dismiss acts like Nolen’s as isolated or irrational, they will fail to confront the reality of jihadist violence driven by Islamic teachings.

Furthermore, Nolen’s attack bore striking similarities to the Islamic State’s (ISIS) beheading videos that were circulating online at the time. His obsession with these videos directly influenced his actions, proving that radical Islamic content had successfully inspired homegrown jihadists on American soil.

The Heroism That Stopped Further Bloodshed

Had it not been for the quick actions of Mark Vaughan, a reserve sheriff’s deputy and executive at Vaughan Foods, Nolen would have claimed a second life. Tracy Johnson, another co-worker, was critically wounded but narrowly escaped a similar fate when Vaughan intervened and shot Nolen, ending the attack. Johnson later recounted the horror, saying Nolen had her pinned against the wall, “slicing me like a piece of meat.”

Government’s Coordinated Whitewashing Effort

In the aftermath of the attack, rather than addressing the clear Islamic motivations behind it, the Obama administration’s response was to obscure the reality of the situation. This was not an isolated case of avoiding the truth about Islam’s influence on Nolen—this was part of a larger pattern. Federal agencies, including Obama’s administration, took every step possible to avoid linking Islamic terror to acts committed on American soil.

Authorities avoided any association between Nolen’s actions and his adherence to Islam, refusing to acknowledge the Islamic teachings that clearly played a role. Instead, they framed the incident as simple workplace violence, ignoring Nolen’s own declarations that his act was religiously motivated. This avoidance of the truth set a dangerous precedent—one we continue to see today under the Biden administration.

Just as the Obama administration avoided addressing Nolen’s Islamic motivations, Biden and Harris’s administration has continued the tradition of downplaying the threat of Islamic extremism in America. Recently, Biden’s top intelligence agency warned personnel not to use words like “Jihad” or “Islamic terror”, further blurring the line between reality and politically-motivated suppression. This effort to whitewash the threat posed by Islam leaves Americans vulnerable to future attacks, as we are not being equipped with the knowledge needed to protect ourselves.

The fact remains that Alton Nolen was inspired by the Quran and motivated by his faith. But instead of learning from this, the government downplayed the role of Islam and kept the public in the dark. This kind of information suppression not only endangers American lives but fosters an environment where radical beliefs can continue to spread unchecked.

The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City: A Controversial Hub

Nolen attended the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC), a mosque praised by Obama, and over the years, has drawn controversy for the extremist rhetoric delivered within its walls. Just recently, Hussam Aylush, Executive Director of CAIR-LA, gave a speech at ISGOC comparing Israel to Nazi Germany and asserting that Israel has no right to defend itself. This kind of anti-Western, anti-Israel sentiment is not isolated to one mosque but is indicative of the broader problem with unchecked Islamic influence in American communities.

Despite these controversies, the ISGOC continues to operate without significant oversight. Nolen seems to have found ideological validation at this mosque, yet federal authorities have done little to address the potential threat it poses. How many more Alton Nolens are out there, attending mosques like ISGOC, being radicalized by Quranic teachings?

The Broader Threat of Homegrown Jihadism

Nolen’s case is not unique but part of a broader trend of Islamic radicalization in America. His lack of remorse, violent behavior in prison, and continued commitment to jihad are chilling reminders of the danger we face from homegrown jihadists. As long as we continue to shield the public from the reality of these threats, we are complicit in allowing the next attack to happen.

The government’s refusal to acknowledge the religious motivations behind attacks like Nolen’s not only fails the victims but endangers the entire country. Colleen Hufford’s murder stands as a brutal testament to the consequences of ignoring the threat of Islamic extremism.

The question remains: how long will Americans remain in the dark?
